![]() The sentiment was stamped on a strip of vellum. The edges of the matching green card base was swiped with embossing ink pad and gold embossed for a bit of extra sparkle. I sponged Mowed Lawn distress ink around the edge of the card front. The stamp is from Gina K’s Christmas Silhouettes stamp set and the sentiment is from Gina K’s Sparkle and Shine stamp set. I was inspired by Gina’s video talking about how pretty gold embossing is on gold cardstock so I wanted to make a card using green glittery embossing powder on green cardstock. I assembled the layers with foam tape to get more dimension, sprinkled pearlescent watercolor over assembled product. The benefit with doing it this way is that I could the range of color saturation but still use a consistent color tint. I originally cut all of the layers from white cardstock but wanted more drama so ended up coloring the layers with Copics. ![]() Hope you can start 2021 off right and get some crafty time in! Next, I glued a piece of clear acetate to the back of the frame and then added foam strips around the back side to create the shaker card.īefore attaching the acetate frame to the card front, I poured in the shaker guts ie: Simon Says Stamp Unicorn Confetti, the stars from Buttons Galore – Aloha mix and Silver Sequins. To create the frame around the outside I used the Simon Says Stamp A2 Thin Frame Dies and the Stitched Rectangle Wafer dies to cut it out. Next, use a clean wet brush to blend them together into each other and then let the piece dry.įinally, use strong adhesive to attach the dry watercolor panel to a top folding A2 sized white card base. ![]() I used Pink, 34, 35, 36, Orange 31 and Yellow 42, 43 to create the watercolor wash background. ![]() Start by wetting a piece of watercolor paper and then adding Gansi Tambi watercolors. While I say Holiday card, by simply changing out the die cut embellishment, it could be a card for any occasion in the winter months.
